$20.00
Limit 50 per order

We develop black-and-white film with Ilford ILFOTEC DD-X Developer for rich tonal detail and classic contrast. Your scans are delivered as high-resolution 8K JPEGs, ready to view, share, and print.

Please select the product and the total number of rolls in your order.

***PLEASE do not submit self-rolled and remjet rolls.

Push or Pull Processing (Per Variation)
$5.00
Limit 50 per order

Push and pull processing adjusts development time to compensate for film shot at an ISO outside its normal range. Pushing helps brighten underexposed film and adds contrast/grain. Pulling softens overexposed film with gentler contrast and smoother tones.

Add one Push or Pull variation for each film stock and adjustment. For example, if five rolls of Portra 400 all need a +1 push, add five Develop & Scan services and one Push +1 variation. Clearly label every affected roll.

Why “Silver Square”?

And then, the iconic 6×6 square medium-format camera, the one photographers usually mean when they say “square format,” really begins with the Rolleiflex TLR by Franke & Heidecke in Germany.

It was introduced in 1929, developed by Reinhold Heidecke and Paul Franke, and became the legendary 6×6 square camera family.

Just like the first famous square-format roll-film camera, the Kodak Brownie, released in 1900 by Eastman Kodak, the Silver Square Film Lab is here to make things simple and accessible.

It produced small square images on roll film and helped many people discover photography as an art form. It was the easiest and most accessible camera for everyone at that time.

Silver has been part of photography since its birth in the 1800s. Modern film grew from silver-halide emulsions, where light transforms tiny silver crystals into an image.
